Airport exhibits at Show
15 February 2005
People attending the Welsh Holiday & Travel Show this weekend (18-20 February) will be in with a chance of winning a £200 bmibaby holiday voucher from Cardiff International Airport.
Cardiff International Airport will be one of the many exhibitors
at the Travel Show, held at Cardiff International Arena, where more
than 50,000 people are expected to visit. Travel agents and
airlines attending the show will include Thomas Cook, Airtours,
P&O Cruises, KLM, Thomson and Zoom Airlines.
Cardiff International Airport's Sales & Marketing Manager
Vincent Rey says, "For those people looking for a fun and enjoyable
day out, they should definitely pay a visit to the Travel Show.
People will even be able book a holiday at the exhibition and staff
will be on hand to answer questions and provide useful advice
should they require.
"Big developments are taking place at Cardiff International with
the introduction of a Toronto flight with Zoom Airlines in May, a
new summer direct scheduled service to Faro by bmibaby and a brand
new winter charter service to Sharm el Sheikh with Thomson
Holidays.
"2005 is an exciting year for the airport with the opening of the
rail link planned this summer and the Welsh Assembly Government
recently announcing plans to boost road access to the airport. Not
only will the developments improve accessibility for Welsh
passengers, but they will also enhance the appeal of Cardiff
International Airport to air-travellers from outside Wales."
