Airport consultative committee meeting
11 January 2005
A meeting of the Airport Consultative Committee for Cardiff International Airport will be held on Tuesday 18 January at 5pm at the airport.
Consultative Committees are designed to provide an effective
forum for consultation on matters concerning the development or
operation of the Airport which relate to users of the Airport and
the people living and working in the surrounding area.
It is a requirement under Section 35 of the Civil Aviation Act 1982
for all major airports to have a consultative committee.
Councillor Jeffrey James, Chairman of the Airport Advisory
Committee stated "The intention of the Committee is to both inform
and engage with the public. Presentations and a question and answer
session will generate informed discussion and hopefully lead to a
greater understanding of the nature of aerodrome operations".
The meeting on Tuesday 18 January will be open to the public with
an opportunity for questions or comments following the formal
meeting proceedings.
Anyone wishing to attend should register their interest in advance
either by telephone with Catherine Brannigan on: 01446 712528 or by
e-mail: cathie.brannigan@cwl.aero.
