EASTERN AIRWAYS ANNOUNCES FIRST SERVICES FROM WALES

Regional airline, Eastern Airways is to launch its first ever scheduled services from Wales with three routes to Brussels, Newcastle and Aberdeen from Cardiff International Airport.
From 24 April, the full service regional airline will offer Welsh business travellers two flights each weekday from Cardiff to Brussels, three each weekday to Newcastle and a daily non stop flight to Aberdeen using 29 seat Jetstream 41 aircraft.
The airline will set up a crew base and also base Jetstream 41 aircraft at Cardiff to operate the services.
Eastern Airways' director, Graeme Ross, said: "We constantly evaluate new route opportunities and the services from Cardiff to Brussels, Newcastle and Aberdeen are an excellent fit with the rest our regional network."
"South Wales has always had strong business links with European Union capital city and the air link to Newcastle enables business travellers to conduct a day's business without the need for an overnight stay. The non-stop service to Aberdeen will save travellers valuable time compared to other transport options."
