Engineering works on Cardiff Airport rail link

As part of essential engineering work by Network Rail, sections of the Vale of Glamorgan railway line will be closed between Saturday 5 August and Friday 11 August 2006.
Arriva Trains Wales (ATW) will be providing a replacement bus
service during this period and full details will be provided on
posters at stations.
Passengers travelling to Rhoose Cardiff International Airport
Station should be aware that journey times may be increased and
should plan their journeys in advance.
Staff will be on hand at Rhoose and Llantwit Major stations on
Saturday and between 7am and 9am and 4pm and 6pm from Monday to
Friday to answer any questions customers may have.
ATW is requesting that customers:
. allow ample time for peak time journeys and journeys to
Cardiff International Airport
. request assistance if they are disabled or need any
assistance, and advise a member of staff who will be happy to
help.
ATW regrets that due to capacity restrictions prams, bicycles and
pushchairs that do not fold away cannot be accommodated on the
replacement bus service.
Saturday 5 August to Sunday 6 August

All services for Bridgend via Rhoose and Llantwit Major will
terminate at Barry Town and a return replacement bus will serve
these stations.
On Saturday 5 August, rail replacement buses from
Barry to Bridgend will call at Rhoose at the following times:
07.50, 08.50, 09.50, 10.50, 11.50, 12.50, 13.50, 14.50, 15.50,
16.50, 17.50, 18.50, 19.50, 20.50, 21.50 and 22.50.
Rail replacement buses from Bridgend to Barry will call at Rhoose
at the following times:
06.56, 07.56, 08.56, 09.56, 10.56, 11.56, 12.56, 13.56, 14.56,
15.56, 16.56, 17.56, 18.56, 19.56, 20.56, 22.33 and 23.33.
On Sunday 6th August, rail replacement buses from
Barry to Bridgend will call at Rhoose at the following times:
09.49, 11.49, 13.54, 15.54, 17.54, 19.54 and 22.08.
Rail replacement buses from Bridgend to Barry will call at Rhoose
at the following times:
09.56, 11.56, 13.56, 15.56, 17.56, 19.56 and 22.47.
Monday 7 August to Friday 11 August
2006
All services for Bridgend via Rhoose and Llantwit Major will
terminate at Rhoose and a return replacement bus will serve these
stations. The line is expected to reopen at 5pm on Friday 11
August 2006.
Buses depart Rhoose for Bridgend at the following times.
06.16, 07.17, 08.16 and every hour at 16 minutes past the hour
until 22.16, then 23.17.
Buses arrive at Rhoose from Bridgend at the following times:
06.01 and every hour at one minute past the hour until 22.01, then
23.33.
Trains to and from the Cardiff direction will run as normal to
Rhoose except that the last train to Cardiff will depart at
23.38.
