Residents of Wales, and the City of Cardiff, are set to benefit
from Thomsonfly's expanded winter 2007/8 network which goes on sale

launching the three new destinations - Barcelona, Gran Canaria and

2007/8. The schedule now on sale is for flights
starting 28th October 2007.
A total of six scheduled destinations from Cardiff are now on
sale with Thomsonfly for next winter. The new destinations are
being added to the existing routes to Alicante, Malaga and
Tenerife.
Thomsonfly will fly to 4 times a week to Barcelona, 3 times a
week to Jersey and twice a week to Gran Canaria. Prices start
at just £19.99 including taxes and charges.
Guy Stephenson, Thomsonfly's commercial director, comments:
"Cardiff Airport is an increasingly important airport for
Thomsonfly's low fares scheduled services, and we are delighted to
increase the year round destinations available for travellers from
their local airport. Jersey has seen a recent surge in
investment in quality hotels so this, coupled with its increasing
reputation as a friendly, sophisticated and easy short break
option, together with frequent flights and low fares, means there
are even more reasons to travel.
"The addition of Barcelona and Gran Canaria continue our
dedication to opening up more world class cities and popular sun
destination throughout the year. High frequency flights, low
prices and flexibility are the continued key to our success in
meeting customer demand".
