Thomas Cook increase summer programme

SUMMER HOLIDAYS READY TO TAKE OFF TO A FLYING START FROM CARDIFF INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
With summer in full swing, Thomas Cook Airlines has added the finishing touches to its flight programme from Cardiff International Airport, which will take off from 1st May 2008. For the first time, a Thomas Cook aircraft will be based at the airport, dedicated to serving the people of Wales.
Thomas Cook Airlines will have one Airbus A321 aircraft based at the airport, which carries 220 passengers. Over the summer period, the airline is expecting to transport, in total, approximately 39,000 travellers to their holiday destinations.
Frank Pullman, managing director of Thomas Cook Airlines, said: " We took the decision to base an aircraft at Cardiff International Airport this summer due to popularity of and the demand for the flights that we offer.
"Everyone at the airline has worked incredibly hard in preparation for the summer season, so we are looking forward to serving Wales."
Flights are operated from Cardiff International Airport to 22
destinations in total, including
ever-popular holiday spots such as Alicante, up and coming cities
such as Bourgas in Bulgaria and further afield to Sharm el Sheikh
in Egypt.
