LATE SUMMER SUN FROM CARDIFF INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
Thomas Cook Adds Flights To Popular Destinations
Thomas Cook Airlines has added more flights to its most popular destinations this summer, from Cardiff International Airport, to cater for those people in the region who wish to book a late summer getaway. Holidaymakers looking to travel to Arrecife in Lanzarote or Ibiza will now have a greater choice of flight options.
Over the summer period, Thomas Cook Airlines is expecting to transport approximately 80,000 travellers to 22 holiday destinations, such as Alicante, Corfu and Dalaman. The airline has an Airbus A321 aircraft based at the airport, which carries 220 passengers.
Frank Pullman, Managing Director of Thomas Cook Airlines, said: " Holidays abroad have proven to be as popular as ever amongst those who have chosen to travel from Cardiff International Airport. With an aircraft based at the airport, it has enabled us to be more flexible so that we can add flights where we feel there is sufficient customer demand."
