Cardiff Airport goes RED for Wales!
01 March 2005
Staff at Cardiff International Airport took part in the Prince's Trust Cymru 'Go Red for Wales' campaign today (Tuesday 1st March) to raise money for disadvantaged children in Wales.
Employees at Cardiff International came to work wearing
something red and donated £1 towards the campaign which helps young
people seek employment, training and further education.
Cardiff International Airport's managing director Jon Horne
explains, "This is a worthy cause and one which we are pleased to
be associated with. The programme operates across the whole of
Wales and supports young people in their local communities. We hope
that the money raised today will make a difference."
The Trust helps more than 6,000 young people every year in Wales to
reach their full potential through financial aid, self development
opportunities and mentor support.
