Airport, sold out soon after going on sale and teams participating
include the Wales Tourist Board, the Welsh Assembly Government,
bmibaby, Cardiff County Council, National Air Traffic and Caxton
Facilities Management.
More than 240 people will be taking part and prizes include a
holiday for four to Majorca, a £500 Airtours holiday voucher, two
Air Wales tickets, a night's stay at the Holland House, St David's
and Hilton Hotel as well as a round of golf at the Vale Hotel's
National Championship course.
Quiz coordinator Cathie Brannigan explains, "On behalf of Cardiff
International Airport, I would like to thank all those
organisations who have provided us with fantastic prizes to raffle
on the evening and to Cardiff Hilton for providing us with a
wonderful venue.
"A big thank you also goes out to Jon Dee and the individuals
taking part in this event as we aim to raise a great deal of money
for a worthy cause.
"More than £1,000 has already been collected on ticket sales and
with the added raffle tickets on the evening, we aim to at least
double that figure."
