Grand Slam Whisky – The Perfect Father’s Day Gift

Why not give your dad a Father's Day (Sunday 19 June) present he will remember by purchasing a limited edition of Penderyn Grand Slam Whisky, currently on sale at Cardiff International Airport, priced at £34.99.
The Welsh Whisky Company's Penderyn Single Malt Whisky, who recently clinched a two-year sponsorship deal with the Welsh Rugby Union, has produced a special edition of this award winning whisky to celebrate Wales's 2005 Grand Slam success.
Cardiff International Airport head of business development Steve Hodgetts explains, "We first sold Penderyn Whisky on St David's day last year and were overwhelmed with the interest and demand the product generated. We sold out within a week and we are confident that this Grand Slam edition will be something similar."
He adds, "The whisky is presented in a special Grand Slam commemorative package, making it the perfect gift for any father, grandfather or great grandfather for that matter! This whisky is quite exclusive and I am sure it will provide another great response from our passengers."
The Grand Slam package has been designed by Penderyn's award winning designer Glenn Tutssel, detailing the historic results and final tournament league table showing how Wales completed the Grand Slam. It also gives the highlights of the crucial last game, the Grand Slam decider against Ireland.
The whisky is sold by Nuance, the travel and duty free shop which is situated in the departure lounge at Cardiff International Airport.
