The top ten destinations for holiday-weekend passengers are (in descending order):
- Palma
- Amsterdam
- Alicante
- Malaga
- Edinburgh
- Dalaman
- Ibiza
- Faro
- Belfast International
- Bodrum
Jon Horne, Managing Director of Cardiff International Airport said: "While weather forecasts for the UK are less than encouraging, a growing number of people are choosing to exploit the expansion of low-cost flights and packages from Cardiff for their Bank Holiday break.
"The weather hasn't deterred visitors to Wales with inbound traffic from our newest destinations such as Barcelona and Paris proving popular with Bank Holiday travellers", he added.
