Baby milk / Bwyd i fabanod

Parents travelling through Cardiff International Airport can now buy baby milk in the terminal's departure lounge beyond security checkpoints, overcoming an inconvenience which emerged when security rules were tightened.
Strict security rules limiting the volume of liquid allowed per passenger means taking baby milk through airport security checkpoints can prove to be an inconvenience. No more than ten 100 mls containers can be carried through checkpoints, which must be placed in a transparent, resealable plastic bag. If the milk is presented outside of the transparent bag it must be tasted by the accompanying adult passenger.
Problems arise as, once opened, the product has to be consumed within a few hours, which can create stress for passengers in the event of a delay, and can cause hold-ups going through the security checkpoint.
But from this month (September), 250ml SMA White and Gold baby
milk can be purchased in ready-to-use containers both before and
after going through Security for the added convenience of
passengers. Both retail at £1.00 per carton.
Customer Service Manager Margaret James said: "We recognised
and appreciated the problem in light of the new security measures
and have taken steps to ensure that parents are provided with the
services they require. Our aim ultimately is to make their journey
as enjoyable and stress free as possible."
Baby food is also supplied free of charge and warming facilities including microwave, bottle warmer, paper bibs and plastic spoons can be found in the Food Village, situated on the first floor of the terminal. Other baby facilities available at the airport include baby care rooms equipped with changing tables available at all times and located on the first floor of departure lounge and in the arrivals hall.

Yn aml nid yw llaeth i fabanod yn para am fwy nag ychydig oriau ar ôl ei agor, a gall hynny beri problemau mewn achosion o oedi, a gall y broses flasu achosi oedi wrth fynd drwy'r system ddiogelwch.
Ond o hyn ymlaen (mis Medi) bydd 250ml o laeth SMA Gwyn ac Aur ar werth yn y maes awyr, cyn ac ar ôl mynd drwy'r system ddiogelwch. Maent yn cael eu gwerthu am £1.00 y carton.
Yn ôl Rheolwr Gwasanaethau Cwsmeriaid Margaret James: "Roeddem yn ymwybodol bod problemau o ganlyniad i'r mesurau diogelwch newydd, ac o'r herwydd rydym wedi cymryd camau i sicrhau fod cyfleusterau priodol ar gael i rieni. Ein nod yn y pen draw yw i wneud eu taith mor hawdd a phleserus â phosibl"
Mae bwyd i fabanod hefyd ar gael yn rhad ac am ddim, ac yn y
Pentref Bwyd sydd wedi ei leoli ar lawr cyntaf y derfynfa mae
cyfleusterau i gynhesu'r bwyd, bibiau papur a llwyau plastig
ar gael. Mae'r cyfleusterau eraill sydd ar gael i'r rhai sy'n
teithio â babanod yn cynnwys stafelloedd arbennig sy'n cynnwys
byrddau newid clytiau. Mae'r stafelloedd yma ar lawr cynta'r lolfa
ymadael a hefyd yn y neuadd gyrraedd.
