FLYBE ANNOUNCES THREE BRAND NEW ROUTES FROM CARDIFF AS PART OF 2008 SUMMER SCHEDULE
- Low cost airline commits to significant route expansion for Wales -
Flybe, Europe's largest regional airline, today launches its complete summer 2008 timetable with a total of 23 new routes and over seven million seats on sale. The summer schedule brings good news for Welsh passengers with three brand new routes on sale to Edinburgh, Glasgow and Newcastle, so travellers are urged to book now to secure flights for their summer breaks next year.
Mike Rutter, Chief Commercial Officer, comments: "These new
routes represent a sustained commitment to our Welsh operation out
of Cardiff and a significant expansion to the services we can now
offer to and from this key destination."
In commenting on what is welcomed as a major investment by Flybe
into the Welsh economy, Cardiff International Airport Operations
Director Graeme Gamble said: "Flybe's services from Cardiff to
Paris and Belfast City are already proving immensely popular with
business and leisure travellers alike. We are delighted that this
has prompted the airline to make a significantly larger investment
here, providing passengers with more choice and convenience."

The three new services will provide travellers with frequent, low-cost, reliable services from their doorstep to exciting destinations next summer.
Mr Rutter adds: "The new routes from Cardiff for summer next

the north of England reaffirming Flybe's commitment to providing
